Taken from the band’s debut LP ‘All Flowers In Time’, this release sees producer, songwriter, composer, pianist and fellow Brooklynite Jesse Fischer add a little funk and transform the album track for the dancefloor.

Highlighted as “the one happy love song on the album” by vocalist Maralisa Simmons-Cook, “Loveline/The Drive Home” is sweet and simple; sprinkled with samba feels, soft vocals and a smooth sax solo from Sly5thAve. Having been heavily influenced by the lyrical stylings of Amy Winehouse, Simmons-Cook writes with a vulnerability and intimacy that allows us a view into her world; “The whole thing came to me so naturally!” She enthuses, “I remember writing the initial line while I was literally doing dishes and then it was straight to the keyboard to find the right chords”.
